Business loan bogus, Little Rock woman tells court

During these trying times of COVID-19, small businesses and essential workers need and deserve support, but fraudulent efforts that take advantage of that support cannot be tolerated.

One Arkansas woman fraudulently received $2 million of PPP, and was indicted by a jury of her peers. Upholding accountability in our justice system is important. In our questionnaire to legislators we are asking that proper COVID-19 relief, accountability in our courts and fighting corruption be top priorities in Little Rock. Arkansas families, small businesses and individuals deserve systems that protect them.

The non-profit Preferred Family Healthcare abused the trust of the public and stole millions from our taxpayers. The process to hold these people accountable has begun. A jury of our peers have convicted two people involved and investigations and court cases are continuing to proceed for others. These are important steps to upholding justice and fighting to protect the most vulnerable among us.
